A DRY and chilly day with largely cloudy skies is expected to kick off the working week, according to the Met Office.

The skies will be on the cloudy side today but it will stay dry, while winds will strengthen making it feel chilly under the cloud.

There could be a few brighter spells at times towards the north and west, with temperatures peaking at 10 °C.

Cloud will move away overnight to leave clear skies, while temperatures will take a dip and some sheltered spots could see a touch of grass frost.
