BANK holiday weekend planners will be spoilt for choice in Worcestershire. Here is our list of seven fun things to do for the whole family.

Why not try your hand at rowing at the Evesham Regatta on Saturday and Sunday. There are different races for seniors, masters and juniors. Alternatively, just sit back, watch the races and relax.

Enjoy a variety of activities at St Richard's Canal Festival, on all weekend in Droitwich Spa. See a range of beautiful boats moored up at Netherwich Basin or alongside the path in Vines Park. Classic cars will be on display in the town centre and there will be a range of stalls and exhibitions.

Sing, dance and drink at Upton Upon Severn Folk Festival. This weekend, Upton will provide an array of traditional dancers, some fast, fiery ceilidhs, and a town full of music. Weekend passes are £70 and day passes are £35.

Taste from a choice of 100 different gins and learn about the history of gin at The Gin Festival at the Guildhall in Worcester on Saturday and Sunday. Attractions will include gin cocktail demonstrations, presentations, VIP tasting sessions and live music throughout the weekend. Tickets range from £16.79 – £43.77.

Make friends with some lovable Donkeys the Mayday Donkey procession at the Malvern Museum and Priory Gatehouse. Coats are being brushed and garlands are bedecked with bows for Malvern’s favourite donkeys to be at their smartest for the annual Mayday Ceremony on Sunday May 6 at 12 noon. The donkeys are hoping to make more friends so bring your family pets along.

Get fit this weekend at the Health & Wellbeing Fair in Rose Bank Gardens, Malvern.

From 11am – 5pm on Saturday, May 5. Rose Bank Gardens will be host to the best of Malvern's fitness, alternative and complimentary health and wellbeing, nutrition, and beauty practitioners. Enjoy free therapies, advice, and guidance covering a whole range of health and wellbeing related topics.

Create some beautiful floral pieces for the Malvern well dressing competition. From Saturday May 5 until the evening of Tuesday May 8, over 50 wells across the Malvern area will be decorated by schools, community groups and families.Well dressing is a historical local custom where the water sources are decorated as a way of saying thanks for the natural water.
