A GROUP of 10 ladies are taking part in a 22 mile sponsored walk in the hope of raising £2,000 for cystic fibrosis.
Becky Parmenter Williams, aged 24, from Broadway, has organised the walk in honour of her son William, who was diagnosed with the disease when he was just two-weeks-old.
William is now just over 13 weeks old and receiving support from Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital.
The walk will take place on Saturday, May 5 - the last day of cystic fibrosis week - starting at the Red Horse pub, in Evesham.
The team will then walk through Hampton to Elmley Castle, up and over Bredon Hill to Ashton Underhill to Hinton, down Cheltenham Road and back to the pub.
To sponsor the team visit the Red Horse pub, where there is a sponsorship form available.
