A NEW campaign launched by an Evesham pet store is hoping to highlight the importance of diet to all pet owners.
Pets at Home in Evesham is hoping the campaign will show how much to feed pets. About 41 per cent of cats and 35 per cent of dogs are said to be overweight or obese. Now owners can take their cats and dogs for a free weight check and nutrition consultation.
Manager Scott Sangster said: “Pets, like humans, can suffer from serious health problems such as heart disease, diabetes and arthritis as a result of a poor diet.”
