Help support war victims

A VALE charity working with vulnerable people around the world is appealing for support.

APT Action on Poverty, based in Cropthorne, was recently given nearly £500,000 by the Big Lottery Fund to help people recovering from the civil war in the African country of Sierra Leone.

The four-year project will aim to reduce the poverty and discrimination facing the disabled by giving them training and help them find jobs.

To support the charity visit aptuk.org.uk or send cheques to APT at Nicholas House, Heath Park, Main Road, Cropthorne, WR10 3NE.
