It’s been a busy week. On Monday, I started with ‘The Best of Evesham’ team at the leisure centre with AsparGus promoting ‘Buy local week’. I would urge everyone to take a look at the ‘The Best of Evesham’ website (www.thebestof.co.uk/local/evesham) as there is loads of information, offers and competitions relating to Evesham businesses.
On Wednesday, I went back to my old school Evesham High. I left there 10 years ago this summer after completing my A-levels. I was invited to go and view the A-level Arts Student work and, albeit there were only four students, the work was brilliant - each unique and each showing great talent.
Lastly on Thursday, I attended the Carnival Revival meeting at Hampton Ferry. An event, which has a great history, but has more, recently struggled. Historically the event has been run by the Round Table, however their numbers aren’t what they used to be - they have needed more support to run the carnival. This week, there were 30+ people at the meeting offering that very support. A new committee has been formed and I wish them the very best of luck and look forward to the revival of the carnival next year.
