WE meet on the first Wednesday of each month, at the Lygon Arms Hotel, Chipping Campden, at 11am, commencing with a short business meeting, followed by a branch social, spouses, partners and close adult relatives are always very welcome

Dedication: ‘In friendship and in service one to another, we are pledged to keep alive the memory of those of all Nations who died in the Royal Air Force and in the Air Forces of the Commonwealth. In their name we give ourselves to this noble cause. Proudly and thankfully, we will remember them. We will remember them’

Treasurer’s Report: Firstly, I would like, once again, to welcome the Cadets of 1289 Squadron ATC and they’re officers. It is good to see them all again. Many of the cadets have been helping with our Wings Appeal Collections, and we are truly grateful for their assistance, which has been invaluable.

Once again, we have exceeded the £10,000 target that we have set ourselves, due in no small part to the efforts of some of the cadets.

We are planning our branch luncheon, to be held at the end of January.

In a few weeks time, HQ will be sending out reminders that the subs are due. I do urge you to use the direct method of payment, and I do not mean direct debit, as it saves the branch money in postage. I will not be offended if you choose to pay your subs direct. We will still get the branch rebate. Thank you in advance.

Finally, I should like to wish each and every one, a very happy Christmas, and all the very best for the New Year.

JOHN SERMON
