CHOCOLATE Bingo in December and a wonderful meal at Evesham Golf Club in January have me thinking I need to diet, again. Or maybe just review my wardrobe.

The latter usually means take it all out, reorganise and put it all back but help is on hand. At our next meeting Hazel Robinson will give a talk and demonstration on How to Create a Capsule Wardrobe. We’ve heard all the space capsule jokes already!

This event is part of our new programme for the centenary year. A programme beautifully designed and produced by Sally and Sue. Big thank you there, also to Frances for the organisation of the meal. The Dorothy Kyte Rose Bowl was won by Barbara Smith.

What else can we look forward to? In March flat shoes for Short Mat Bowling; at some of our other meetings interesting speakers on a variety of subjects such as famous hotel guests, the impact of war on women and later in the year the 1st female paramedic. There is a visit to Belle House for demo and tasting, more food, and food will feature again at the birthday celebration in May. The big day is September 12 as we celebrate the centenary of the founding of WI. More on this later in the year.

Meetings are held in Cropthorne and Charlton Village Hall at 7.30pm on the second Tuesday of the month. If you are interested in joining or just want to come along to one or two meetings contact the secretary on 01386 860617.
