Evesham Gardening Club’s January meeting was opened by the treasurer reading a letter from the Bell Tower appeal thanking members for their donation of £100. This was followed by an enjoyable talk and picture show of a charity cycle tour along the Dingle coast of Ireland by Ray Sturdy. Members found this light hearted and very interesting. Our next speaker on Tuesday 24th February will be Roger Umplelby on Pest and disease control without chemicals. This is a subject which will be very helpful to all gardeners and we welcome visitors and new members to join us at Wallace House, Oat Street at 7.30pm Josie Howard 01386 443374.
