THE March meeting of Bidford on Avon WI was held at The Bidford Methodist church.
Members were given the exciting news that there was to be a WI Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on June 2 to celebrate 100 years of the WI and that each WI had been invited to send a member. A ballot was held and the lucky member representing Bidford on Avon will be Lynn Kirkman.
The evening was a fun evening with a fun auction of donated items. The items included plants, cooking equipment , books , cosmetics, biscuits , chocolates and even a cuddly teddy A supper followed and the evening ended with the competition winners being announced and the raffle being drawn
Our April meeting will be held on April 9 at 7.30pm at the Bidford Methodist Church. The speaker will be Pam Sutton . Her talk is entitled Troop Aid.
