THE members thoroughly enjoyed their April meeting being entertained by Mark Cummings who wakes up the County every weekday morning on Radio Gloucestershire. Mark's love of the County with its forthright residents, it's quirky customs and the intriguing village names is obvious. One highlight of our evening was recording the message for his "10 to 8" slot and the next morning he will have had many members tuning in for the very first time!
Our next meeting will be on Thursday, May 14 when the speaker will be Lynda Warren with her talk “A Century of Women and the WI”. This will be followed by a vote on this year’s Resolution.
