THIS months talk to the Evesham & District U3A at the Town Hall, was entitled Life in the Music.
Andy Smith, an instrumental guitarist/vocalist took us on a journey through his life featuring self-penned songs and ballads plus a few well known songs for members to join in.
Starting with a song entitled Baby Blues Andy took us through his life from boyhood to the present day using a selection of musical instruments acquired over the years, these included a mandolin, guitar and ukulele banjo.
A relaxing afternoon on what later proved to be the hottest day of the year so far.
Next months talk on August 5 is Kathmandu to Everest with Ray Sturdy who has spoken to our U3A group several times before.
Meetings are held every month, except January, on the first Wednesday of the month at 2pm .There is a programme of speakers and refreshments are provided, with no charge to U3A members. Guests are welcome at suggested donation of £2.
