Our meeting in July was well attended by local villagers and members from neighbouring WIs, Evesham Vale, Pershore, Littleton and Wichenford. The attraction was Mr Ian Parsons, Vice Chairman of the British Orchid Society. He spoke very eloquently about the various species of orchids, their characteristics and how best to look after these most elegant of flowers. An enjoyable and informative talk.
Activities in July have also included a social evening of skittles and we look forward to August when we have our own special tea party. Regular meetings start again September 2.
