AT our July meeting we spent an entertaining afternoon with Sarah Gravestock telling us about her "Journey in Quilting" and viewing wonderful examples of her work. Also during July we held a Garden Party to celebrate the centenary of the foundation of theWI at which we were delighted to welcome members from Brinklow WI and from the Moreton Evening WI. Everyone enjoyed a splendid afternoon tea and joined in a super raffle with prizes donated by our members.
Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, August 6, at 2pm, when Dr.Pilkington will enlighten us about "The Oxford Canal".
