DIANA Rafael entertained us at our August meeting with tales of her time as Mayor of Evesham. She spoke for 45 minutes about her first year as Mayor in 1999 meeting Princess Margaret and Princess Ann and also about her visits to the twinning towns in France, Germany and America
On September 2 we are holding a combined Macmillan Coffee morning between 10am and 12noon in the village hall, Harvington. Coffee/tea and cake will be sold in aid of Macmillan and there will be a raffle, cake stall and bric a brac table. Please come along and support this worthwhile charity, the event is open to all and you will be very welcome. This replaces our evening meeting in September.
