SUNDAY is a popular day for walkers; so with a lovely sunny day forecast Evesham Ramblers assembled near to the fountain on Cowleigh Road Malvern for a five mile undulating walk. The walk was led by Bob ably assisted by his wife Gill, the route took walkers through woodland with little used paths, down quiet lanes and alongside some orchards where the trees were laden with apples. The walk was leisurely paced and Bob and Gill encouraged the participants to enjoy the far reaching views back to Malvern and Worcester.
Evesham Ramblers Group have just produced their next four monthly programme and there are lots more walks to enjoy within a 30 minute drive, take a look on www.ramblers.org.uk to find a walk to suit, wear stout footwear and just turn up at the start. New walkers are most welcome.
