SOME 50 members enjoyed Rob Cole's talk at the August club evening. Entitled "Plants - The Real Thing", we had a visual presentation of 60 different plants, mainly floral, with descriptions of how to use and combine them. No artificial visual aids, just excellent examples of the plants and a great, entertaining, talk. At the end, members descended like seagulls on the wonderful plants he had brought for sale.
The September meeting on Saturday September 19 at 1pm is the annual show. On October 15 Dr Murray Mylechreest will give a talk "Gardens in Transit" at 8pm. Meetings are in the Crawford Hall, Bidford. Details are available from Mrs Annette Haynes on 01789 268974.
