THERE was no speaker for the August meeting which was a social with free tea, coffee and delicious cakes made by the ladies of the committee, this was followed by a bottle tombola. The purpose of the centre is to promote friendships and we meet on the fourth Wednesday in the month at Peopleton Village Hall. There is a Pub Lunch on the first Wednesday and a coffee morning on the second Wednesday in the month. We organise Holidays and days out and strive for a happy atmosphere where all are welcome.
