IN THE absence of a speaker, our own Secretary, Jo Brooks, stepped in and entertained us by telling us about her experiences working at the Post Office spanning 42 years. Following her Civil Service exams and further training at Bletchley, Jo worked mostly at the Moreton in Marsh Post Office which was then the very hub of the community. Our next meeting is on Thursday, April 14 at 7.30 pm in the Moreton WI Hall, when the speaker will be Andy Smith a musician who will take us through his life in music. We are unable to accept visitors or new members at present but please contact Jo on 01608 650821 if you would like to be added to the waiting list.
