Evesham and Pershore Army Cadet Force detachments are looking for enthusiastic new leaders.
They are hosting a joint open day for potential adult instructors from 10am - 4pm on Saturday, April 9 at their Evesham headquarters in Coronation Street, Evesham. Everyone is invited along to see what adults can do in the Army Cadet Force.
Sgt Jason Whitaker said, “We are looking for adults who do what they say they’ll do - enthusiastic, public-spirited, inspirational and committed to making young people better citizens.”
“Anyone between the ages of 18 and 55 can join. No military experience is needed and we provide top class training. From shooting and Fieldcraft to Duke of Edinburgh Award and adventurous training, there is something to suit every interest. It’s a brilliant organisation that I’m proud to be a part of.”
Adults join to be either civilian assistants or uniformed instructors. Evesham and Pershore Troops are part of Hereford and Worcester Army Cadet Force. For more details, please phone 01432 359917 or visit www.HWACF.com.
