THE June meeting of Bidford on Avon WI was held at The Bidford Methodist church.
President, Shirley McAloon welcomed everyone including a visitor. All the details of events, outings and classes were detailed in the monthly newsletter.
The speaker for the evening was Ron Ball, the past Warwickshire Police Commissioner. Ron gave details of his life and how he became a Police Commissioner. An interesting speaker.
Refreshments followed, the competition winners were announced and the evening ended with the raffle being drawn.
Our July meeting will be held on14 July, 7.30 at the Bidford Methodist Church when the speakers will be Eugine and Margaret Schellenberg. Their talk is about the Ifakara Bakery in Africa.
