ON Tuesday, March 14, Harriet Rycroft gave us an excellent talk on ‘Summer Exuberance in Pots and Containers’. She was formerly the Head Gardener at Whichford Pottery. Her talk was illustrated with slides which clearly showed how she planned, created and maintained many large displays of planted pots all year round at the pottery, at her home and at Chelsea Flower Show. She gave us lots of tips on plant choice, use of pots, drainage, propagation and on-going care of the plants used.
