THE October meeting was well attended and there was a variety of competition entries.

The speaker for the evening was Neil Munro , the manager of The Heritage Seed Library at Ryton Organic Gardens. He gave a very informative talk on the setting up of the Library - its birth being created out of EU regulations,, the economics of producing and selling seeds and how the Seed Library had saved many old varieties.
The next meeting on November 20 is the Societies AGM and then the December meeting on Thursday, December 18 is a talk entitled Flowers of the Gods by John Roberts.Both will take place at The Crawford Memorial Hall 7.30pm for 8pm.
