THE February Meeting of Bidford on Avon WI was held at The Bidford on Avon Methodist Church. Joan Churchley, a Vice President welcomed members and visitors.
Members stood in silence for a minute to remember Rene Pride who had died recently. All the details of events, outings and classes were detailed in the monthly newsletter.
Pam Smith gave further information about a Bidford on Avon WI coach trip being organised from Bidford in May.
Mike Rosbourne was the speaker. His talk was about bees, their life cycle and how we could attract them to our gardens. This was a really excellent talk, interesting and Mike was only too delighted to answer a lot of questions.
The March meeting is March 9 at the Bidford Methodist Church. The speaker is Jez from the St. Johns Ambulance. His talk ‘ How to save a life before the ambulance arrives.
