SHIRLEY McAloon, the President welcomed everyone to the April meeting of Bidford on Avon WI
All the details of events, outings and classes were detailed in the monthly newsletter.
Joan Churley had been the delegate at the Warwickshire Federation Annual Meeting and gave a report of a wonderful interesting day with excellent speakers.
A real fun night was held at this April meeting led by a member Claire Smith. This was a hands on evening described as a messy artistic event. All members took part in producing a water colour of a sheep. The final pictures were all different, it was slightly messy but everyone agreed it had been great fun.
The May meeting of Bidford on Avon WI is Thursday 11 May at the Bidford Methodist Church,
We will be having a Ploughman’s supper and fun auction. Members are asked to donate anything saleable. Alleviating loneliness and plastic soup are the titles of the two resolutions to be discussed at the National Annual Meeting in June. At the May meeting Bidford on Avon members will discuss and vote for or against these resolutions. Do come and join us.
