On Tuesday June 14 the club visited member’s gardens in Ilmington. The weather during the day had been awful but at 6.30pm it stopped raining and so we were able to make our visit. The four gardens we saw were all different but each one was absolutely delightful in its own way. A lot of hard work had obviously gone into all four. Everything was in full bloom and very colourful.

The evening ended with an excellent buffet supper at the home of one of the members in Ilmington. Many thanks to all involved for providing such a great evening.

Our next event is our involvement in the Ebrington Village Fete on Saturday July 9 when we will be manning a plant and garden bric-a-brac stall.

This will be followed by an evening visit to Chivel Farm, Heythrop on Tuesday 12 July.

Our Annual Summer Show will take place on Saturday 13 August at Washbrook Farm, Ebrington.
