There’s always plenty to chat about on an Evesham Ramblers walk, and on Sunday 26 June when the five mile route took walkers through many of the passageways of Tewksbury the conversation turned to the many different names for alleys. Each walker seemed to have their own local name! However, what everyone did agree about, was the delightful surprises at the end of the alleyways. There were stretches of riverside, open greens and parks brimming with colourful flower beds, some even had benches for weary walkers to rest. Evesham Ramblers hold walks every Sunday and new walkers are very welcome to join in. Visit www.ramblers.org.uk/evesham to find the programme.
