THE Evesham Gardening Club had a very interesting speaker for September. Sebastian Parsons spoke of the story of Rush Farm and Stockwood business centre. He outlined the progress and fresh approach to organic farming with their ethos being to include the public in helping to save special interest land for future generations. Our speaker for October is also a person who has the community at heart. Dr Sue Ablett has raised funds for EVCR, played a huge roll in the Festival of Words and also the Bell Tower appeal to name but a few. Dr Ablett will engage members with her travel adventures. Do come and join us at Wallace House, Oat Street at 7.30pm Tuesday 25 October. Entry fee is £3 to include refreshment.
