EVESHAM Gardening Club started 2017 with an enjoyable meal at The Round of Gras in Badsey which was a new addition to the programme. The first speaker of January was Mr Adrian James who began our gardening programme by taking us on a photographic tour of Newlyn where he introduced us to buildings his grandfather knew and worked and how the lives of the residents have changed over the years. The magical places down hidden streets were captured in his lovely description of Newlyn old and new which will tempt members to visit Cornwall this year. The speaker for February is Gary Farmer who will talk on the activities and valuable asset that the Vale Landscape Heritage Trust is to Evesham and surrounding areas. This promises to be an interesting talk and we welcome members and guests to join us. The meeting starts at 7.30pm on Tuesday, February 28 at Wallace House, Oat Street entry fee is £2 members, £3 for guests with refreshments provided. We look forward to your company.
