AS this was our AGM the business side of the evening took priority with details of finances, the annual report and a review of the events and outings of the last year.

THE speaker for our October meeting was Bernadette Halton, a Wimbledon umpire. Her talk was lively and instructive.

A VERY jovial gentleman by the name of Brian Draper was our speaker for the evening on The River Avon.

A WELCOME to members and a visitor, Jan Titley, birthday wishes, and apologies, before all present witnessed three of our members act as volunteers when demonstrations of Indian head massage, acupressure massage and reflexology were shown to us by Steve Soden.

FOLLOWING the welcome from president Val Davies and matters arising members settled down to listen to the speaker of the evening Nick Smith and his brother whose talk was entitled A Ticket to Ride.

WE met for our meeting in June and were looking forward to our talk on the Macmillan Nurses.

THIS month was our open meeting where we welcomed other WIs to join us and enjoy our fashion show from The Attic of Chipping Campden.
