THIS month was our open meeting where we welcomed other WIs to join us and enjoy our fashion show from The Attic of Chipping Campden.

Following our singing of Jerusalem and a welcome from president Val Davies and a toast to HM The Queen, the show commenced.

Hilda Bashford (one of our members) was soon seen to be clicking away with her camera taking lots of photos of members who had agreed to model garments along with the ladies from The Attic.

Behind the scenes things were a little hectic as many were attempting to get changed in record time – but it all added to the fun (especially as quite a few glasses of wine were being consumed). The ladies looked stunning and professional as they strolled down the catwalk. In true WI tradition a wonderful supper was provided and thoroughly enjoyed by our visitors and members.

The finale, in honour of the Jubilee, had a Red White & Blue theme where all the models appeared on stage wearing outfits in these colours. A wonderful time was had by all.
