MEMBERS have just returned from a marvellous holiday in Weymouth.
The weather was perfect, as was the hotel. While there we enjoyed trips out to Bournemouth, Lyme Regis and Bridport. Everyone agreed it was a first class break after the miserable winter.
Our next holiday is to Newquay for seven days from September 21-27. It will include trips to the Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Helligan. There are still spare places so if anyone would like to join us, please phone Colin or Helen on 01608 650972 as soon as possible.
We would also welcome new members to our Club which has meetings with guest speakers and day trips out.
Our next meeting will be on May 14 at the Congregational Church Hall at 2.30pm when the speaker will be a representative from The Rare Breeds Trust.
Please come along, meet new friends and brighten up your life.
DAVID HARDIMAN
