Remembrance Service St Peter Church Bengeworth held on November 15 - I was privileged to attend this service and asked to read from Luke Chapter 10 Verse 25 to 37 and our young people marching proudly and remembering the fallen.

Apologies to Ferry View Residents, I was unable to attend your event on November 18.

Evesham's Christmas light switch on - what a great night to see the young, Mums and Dads and Grandparents together singing along with the children and the adults even queuing to see Father Christmas, then to see the children's faces light up at the Fireworks Display was something see.

A big thank you to the members of the Hampton Club for for organizing "A Quiz Night" in aid of the Mayors Charities on Friday, November 27.

On Tuesday, December 1, I switched on the lights at Hampton Ferry, which was a great night to remember.

On Thursday, December 3 I shall be switching on the lights of the "Tree of Light" I know that the tree provides a helpful symbol for our community to remember the lives of loved ones, at the same time their sponsorship of lights allows them to give support to others less fortunate.

Just a reminder that on December 19 in Market Square - the Mayor of Evesham Christmas Sparkle Event is being held - there will be live music and entertainment from 12 to 5pm - and not forgetting the Christmas market.

New Home Bonus £131k - I would urge members of our community to send in their suggestions on how the money should be spent to the "New Homes Bonus Working Group" so come on, don't just post on Facebook send your ideas direct to the Evesham Town Clerk who will pass them onto the working group.
