AT the February meeting, at Peopleton Village Hall, speaker Dennis Beasley gave a talk entitled “All the World’s a Stage”. It was about the running and maintaining of The Roses Theatre, Kidderminster. He has been associated with the Theatre for 30 years and he went through the stages of putting on a production.
The Chairman informed us that he had already booked The Vale Golf Club for our December Christmas lunch . There will be a revival of the popular Sunday Lunch on June 11, the venue is to be announced. The Thames river trip on June 21 has expanded and the coach is now a 53 seater which means another 4 seats available . The next meeting will be on March 22, the speaker will be John Pittwood, the talk is entitled “Where did my bag go”.
