THE March meeting of the Gardening Club was the Spring Show, and this year once again, proved very popular with members, with a total of 67 exhibits throughout the 13 different classes. The overall winner was Angela Gash, with Eileen Goodall, a close second. Angela was presented with the Colin Hill Nurseries Salver by the Club President, Tiny Hadley, together with the Chairman, Colin Hill who were once again, the very accomplished judges. Our next meeting is on Wednesday, April 22, at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall, when we welcome back a very popular speaker, Peter Ralph, to give an illustrated talk entitled "Getting away from it all in the Royal Forest of Dean", a beautiful area with much interest which is so close to home.
