A VALE bus firm has added a new vehicle to its fleet. Dudley’s Coaches based in Radford, now has 19 vehicles, which will help them expand as the business even further. Managing director Chris Dudley said: “It is the first new vehicle we have bought for some time. It is a step forward and will raise our profile. We are very optimistic about the future.

Pet lovers dream

AN animal lover has taken over the running of an Evesham pet store. Julia Glass recently took over Petmad in Bridge Street, after the shop’s previous owner moved on to pastures new. She said: “I have cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits and chickens at home and am a real pet lover. The previous owner of the shop had been here a long time and I want to continue her good work. We have been very busy over our opening few weeks.”

Flock competition

THE Cotswold Sheep Society is organising a flock competition this year. The large flock section will be for flocks with more than 20 ewes of breeding age, shearlings and older, and the small flock section will be for up to 19 ewes of breeding age. Judges will visit flocks in July to see how they are managed, judge breeding and marketing strategies and hear about ambitions for the future. “It is a wonderful opportunity to show off your flock and your knowledge to the judges,” said Angela Reid of the society.
