May I through the pages of your newspaper, and on behalf of the patients and trustees of Evesham Vale Cardiac Rehab, thank most sincerely all those who helped make our charity race night last Friday so successful.

A special thanks to the chairman, committee, and members of Hampton Working Men's Club who hosted the event and who continue to give us their generous support and make us so welcome.

Thanks also to the ladies of the club who once again provided a wonderful buffet!

We raised £860 on the night due to the generosity of all those who participated.

I can assure everyone that this will contribute greatly to the maintenance and improvement of Evesham Vale's rehab facility, and particularly in helping to fund the new education sessions that will complement the core exercise programmes.

There will be another opportunity to help our appeal by attending our black-tie dinner at the Orangery, Wood Norton Hotel, on March 28.

Our new patron, food writer and TV chef Sally Bee, will be there along with guest speaker Mark Webster, ITN journalist.

Look out for information on how to book, or contact gerry.donnell@sky.com
