AFTER numerous phone calls to the council and the letting office without success, I am asking the Journal to print this regarding the state of the empty shops around Evesham town centre.
They make Evesham look so shoddy, and two of the main culprits are the old Julian Graves and Argos.
Both have papers stuck all over the dirty windows and rubbish strewn over the floor.
I have offered to clean Julian Graves myself to no avail, and I know that someone local has a key.
Argos still have the lease on the High Street shop, so why aren't they being made to clean it up?
Get your finger out councils and letting agents, and get something done before we lose the last of our tourists to the town.
