MY family and I would like to thank all of the people who kindly attended my fundraising event at Evesham’s Regal Cinema on September 30.
Two hundred and sixty-four people almost filled the cinema to watch Dirty Dancing starring Patrick Swayze, who sadly died of pancreatic cancer.
I would also like to thank Laurence and Ian Wiper of the Regal, who sympathetically understood not only my need to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer Action, but also awareness of this vile disease, and for putting together awareness videos to show on the large screen and for their team’s efforts on our behalf on that morning. There was no better way to get the message across. Thank you.
The event raised a fantastic £2,737, and was kindly sponsored by many individuals and by Allchurch Bailey, GHC Wealth Management and the Regal Cinema.
This amount far exceeded our expectations, thank you so much.
