CAN I add my support to the councillors at Wychavon District Council's planning committee disappointed at the "wanton vandalism" at Hurst Meadows, Wyre Road, Pershore, by LRE.
I live in Wyre Piddle. Some 18 months ago, Bovis put in a planning application for 40-plus houses on a piece of land which had been 'vacant' for at least 40 years.
Yes, they had the land cleared (vegetation, deer and other wildlife suffered) and planning permission had not been given.
How can these developers get away with this 'process' before due diligence had taken place?
The application was turned down, but guess what they are back with another. Words fail me.
