IN the Evesham Journal (November 13) it was reported that there had been an 11 per cent increase in fly-tipping over the last year.
One might ask whether there was any correlation between this increase and the council's decision to charge £19 for large item removals – a service that had previously been free?
Sometimes short-term savings can lead to long term consequences – and expense.
