AFTER reading the article about speed traps on the outskirts of Evesham (February 26) I would like to suggest that the safer roads partnership should come into the town centre on a night-time – they would have a field day.
At the same time they could dish out fines for urinating in shop doors, breaking windows and public disorder.
Perhaps wait at the bottom of Mill Bank and stop the boy racers treating the road like a Formula One track – the only things missing being spectators or those wall of tyres at a corner.
Mind you, who needs tyres when there's a house there to bounce off!
However, it doesn't matter much because no ones been killed... yet.
The other question is why two lanes – which onl encourage overtaking on a bend – merges to one at the top.
Perhaps give us back our residential parking on one lane, this would help slow down the traffic then the police could stay hiding behind trees!
