WHEN my husband and I married 60 years ago and were looking for a home we were impressed with a road with beautiful plane trees.
Now 60 years on the plane trees in Broad Street, Pershore, have grown, and the one outside our house has caused immense damage.
Walls and slabs in the front garden have been damaged, along with every room in the house, including the bathroom, vestibule and hall.
Although the trees are lovely at this stage, in years to come they will cause tremendous damage.
