IN response to Sue Clee's letter in the Journal (April 23), I am also worried about the traffic problems that could be caused by the new developments in Station Road.
However, I am more concerned that the electorate can fall for the propaganda issued by the local Lib Dems.
Lib Dems up and down the country have a time honoured practice of picking on a local issue, jumping up and down about it and giving the impression that they are effective in dealing with it when in effect they have achieved very little.
It might seem an innocent method of communication, but believe me it is aimed purely at raising the profile of an individual or a party.
Unfortunately, people fall for it instead of contacting their local councillors and asking them why they have voted in a certain way.
I am very wary of councillors who make a big song and dance, especially leading up to an election.
