Care dilemma

I was disgusted to read an article in the Journal, January 14, about 86 year old Ms Smith from Wickhamford, being left without her carer for three days during the bitter cold. Helping Hands should change their name as they are certainly not helping when they are needed the most. If it had not been for her caring milkman how would she have managed? The milkman could get to her so why couldn’t a carer? Maybe they could not drive right up to the door but they could have parked her car put on her boots and walked. It was done by others who really cared about clients who needed help. I hope the milkman got paid by Helping Hands, he deserves it.

G Gill, Studley.
