Bored with the afternoon cookery and quiz shows, I tried Channel 81 - Parliament "Live" - a misnomer, if ever there was one!
I was firstly surprised, then appalled that I could only see, about 30 MPs scattered around the Chamber, with Ed Miliband holding forth on our current energy crisis, mainly about gas supplies.
Two ladies behind him, handbags and contents strewn along the benches, were happily chewing away on sweets - one was yawning!
A man on the other side of the House, behind another MP speaking - and with full-on camera, was concentrating on texting somebody!
Out of 650 MPs, it appears only around 30 thought it important enough to attend - and some of those appeared to be advisers to Miliband.
After 10 minutes, I too was yawning and went to another channel.
With Brussels now running our nation efficiently, via Regional Authorities, I don't think we really need to pay 650 MP's salaries, expenses and sizeable pensions - or bear the cost of heating and lighting the enormous House of Commons. Do you?
