Funeral thanks

I WOULD like to thank all those involved in the flower show at St Laurence Church, Bidford, for their patience and understanding in allowing us to hold a funeral service on the morning of Thursday, May 31.

They had planned to start arranging the displays for the weekend show from early on the Thursday morning but we had a family approach us who were concerned about having to wait until the following week as we had both the bank holiday and the Jubilee itself coming up.

Allowing us to go ahead meant they had half a day less in which to do their sterling work.

Both we and the family in question are very grateful to them.
