CAN I express my very sincere thanks to the people of Pershore and surrounding villages who gave so generously to this year’s RNLI collection.
The weather for the village collections was mixed but for Flag Day in Pershore it became truly foul – indeed, one collector returned after an hour outside Tesco with £8.36 and two inches of rain in his bucket! Despite this, you gave a total of £2,053.37 for the week. Perhaps it was the thought that the lifeboats might again be needed in Pershore.
My thanks to all who gave and all who collected. I do hope you realise how much you are appreciated.
