Imported flags

WHAT a pleasure it is to see Union flags flying and people being proud of the flag without it being hijacked by the darker side of politics.

There are still a number of them flying upside down, but nevertheless a really good effort.

On the niggling side, did anyone notice the cheap ones being sold in supermarkets? Not only are they referred to on the packet as Union Jacks, whereas they are correctly known simply as Union flags, but they are made in China. For a very British occasion they could have at least bought flags manufactured in Britain.
