COWS, calves and a large young bull are again inhabiting the beautiful Avon Meadows in Pershore.

Wychavon District Council, which grants the grazing agreement, is not, of course, responsible for the recent wet weather but with all the expertise available it must have been obvious that 100 cloven hooves would cause severe damage. Three things would help enormously: Tape off the riverside path so that ‘clean’ access is available, erect a sign warning of the bull (which I believe legally has to be done) and get rid of the creatures once and for all.

Few are using this amenity for health and leisure. The combination of water, mud and cow dung is indescribable. What a way to attract visitors back to our stunning little town!

Same old story... no one at Wychavon appears to be listening or to care. Doesn’t somebody at at the council realise not only the above problems but additionally the inherent physical dangers of putting cows, calves and a bull in a public place? Same old story...no one listens...cares...or takes responsibility.
